Abstract
In some cases, the element spacing is beyond. due to the volume of high power TR component, which causes grating-lobe in scan angle. Some methods are implemented, such as aperiodic array, flat-topped element method, and etc. In this paper, we propose a reconfigurable element method to suppress grating-lobe in. element spacing design which meets the power capacity demand. Simulation results show 6dB suppression more than ordinary design outside the scope of +/- 5 degrees.
