Abstract
In this extended abstract, the narrowband interference (NBI) cancellation problem is introduced for dual-PN-padded TDS-OFDM signal in underwater acoustic communications. PN sequence is used in differential measuring of interference and payload reconstruction. A compressed sensing-based algorithm termed initialization enhanced sparsity adaptive subspace pursuit (IESASP) is proposed to estimate the NBI differential. Index-modulated OFDM (IM-OFDM) signal is considered for performance evaluation. Simulation results show that the proposed NBI cancellation method can effectively enhance BER performance especially for IM-OFDM.
