Abstract
In order to meet the needs of tackling emergencies caused by sudden biological threats, a visual assessment system is designed and implemented by applying the spatial analysis and mapping functions of Baidu Maps, the existing aerosol diffusion model and the population density data of provinces, cities and regions in China. By quickly assessing the scope of harm caused by aerosol release of pathogenic microorganisms and the number of people affected, and by carrying out visualized simulation and display on the map intuitively and dynamically, this system provides great support for the decision-making of medical service department to formulate effective emergency measures.
