摘要

•Heteroatom-doped hollow carbon micro-tubes derived from platanus catkins fiber are prepared.•Electrochemical properties of the above bio-carbon as SICs electrode are evaluated.•The rich heteroatoms and unique structure endow the sample with a high specific capacity.
