Abstract
We developed a measure of being older than the modal age for one’s grade (i.e., >14, >15, >16, and >17 in 9th-12th grade respectively) and assessed whether it modified the effect of grade level on a comprehensive set of risk behaviors. Here we present findings for alcohol use (past 30-days), multiple sexual partners (>3, lifetime), and fighting on school property (past 12-months).
