Abstract
In this experimental study, we demonstrated the consequence on the charging and discharging time of energy of PCM used with nanofluid Aluminum oxide. During the experimentation the working fluid are water and then the nanofluid Aluminum oxide is used. PCM used during the experimentation is paraffin wax. It has been found that by using nanofluid with paraffin wax in energy storage system, the charging time is enhanced by 25% and the discharging time is reduced by 20%.
