Abstract
•Gasoline aromatics and olefins with constant ethanol affect fuel properties.•Higher aromatics and olefins in ethanol blends led to increase in RON number.•NOx emissions increase in the EtOH blends containing low olefins.•CO2 emissions increase with the C/H ratio of the fuels.•Low aromatics fuels shows lower ozone forming potential in the ethanol blends.
