摘要
•SAM formation of (3-Trimethoxysilylpropyl) diethylenetriamine (DETAS) is studied.•SAM growth of DETAS exhibits two behaviors depending on the relative humidity.•Hydrogen bonding in compact SAM of DETAS was shown using ATR-FTIR spectroscopy.•Quality of DETAS SAM was improved using different carbon length solvents.
