Abstract
The self-assembled nanobelt photocatalysts (SQAP-C4 and SQAP-C8) with quinacridone containing butyl and octyl side chains as electron donors and pyridine dicarboxylic acid as an acceptor were firstly developed for efficient hydrogen evolution. SQAP-C4 without the loading of cocatalyst Pt exhibited a superior H-2 evolution reaction rate of 656 mu mol h(-1) g(-1) and excellent stability.
