Abstract
•H2/O2/NO/NO2/N2O and H2/N2O combustion systems were investigated.•Indirect and direct measurements were encoded in 253 RKD-format XML data files.•16 recent NOx combustion mechanisms were tested against these data.•An optimized mechanism was created that is better than the previously published ones.•New Arrhenius parameters with uncertainty limits were determined for 9 reaction steps.
