Knockdown of enhancer of rudimentary homolog inhibits proliferation and metastasis in ovarian cancer by regulating epithelial-mesenchymal transition.

•The ERH expression level is high in ovarian cancer.•Patients with ovarian cancer with high expression of ERH have a poor prognosis.•Knockdown of ERH could inhibit proliferation and promotes apoptosis in ovarian cancer cells.•ERH can promote the metastasis of ovarian cancer by regulating EMT.•ERH has potential as a molecular therapeutic target for ovarian cancer.
