•Olanzapine/samidorphan is being developed for schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.•OLZ/SAM had no QTc effect up to supratherapeutic doses of olanzapine and samidorphan.•Assay sensitivity was confirmed by the positive control, moxifloxacin.•OLZ/SAM was generally well tolerated up to supratherapeutic doses/concentrations.
