Analysis of the Impact of Urban Electric Vehicles' Charging Behavior Under Power-Traffic Coupling on the Voltage Stability of Distribution Network

Analyzing the spatial-temporal distribution characteristics of electric vehicle (EV)charging load and studying the influence of charging behavior on the distribution network are conducive to ensuring its stable operation. This paper presents an EV charging model under power-traffic coupling, constructed using trip chain theory and Monte Carlo (MC) simulation to simulate the driving process of EVs and calculate their charging demand. Then, a continuation power flow (CPF) calculation model considering EV charging load was established to identify critical states of the power system and evaluate voltage stability. Finally, a part of the city's regional transportation network and IEEE 33- bus system was selected to validate the proposed model. Simulation results demonstrate effectiveness of the proposed model and method.
