Abstract
•A new sonoelectrochemical reactor for electrocatalytic hydrogenation route is presented.•The optimal conditions of the process were analyzed by statistical experimental design.•A wing used in the sonoelectrochemical reactor has the ability to cool the reaction temperature.•Cu as cathode, four-way-type as reactor and ultrasound continuous mode (14W) were the best conditions.
