Abstract
Prognostic evaluations in older patients with cancer are important for overall individualized care planning. Ideally, all older patients with cancer should undergo a Comprehensive Geriatric Assessment (CGA); nevertheless, this is not yet a part of routine clinical practice. Simplified instruments with good discriminatory and prognostic values, including the modified G8 (mG8), have been the subject of research in the older adult population of developed countries; nevertheless data from low and middle-income countries (LMIC) are scarce [ [1] Hurria A.
