•A computational study of tissue deformation injecting nanoparticles during laser induced thermo therapy signifying pain sensation.•Study of the thermal effect of multi-level blood vessels on tumor necrosis in a triple layered skin structure.•Computational results show good agreement with the laser heating of tissue phantom.•Intratumoral infusion scheme of nanoparticle predicts precise tumor ablation with minimum healthy tissue damage.•DPL bio-heat model predicts more realistic tissue thermomechanical behavior in comparison to classical Pennes model.
