摘要
•Proper heat treatment process was 630–660 °C for 220 min on bimetallic plates.•Adiabatic shear bands (ASB) existed in the 304L stainless steel side below 690 °C.•Heat treatment made tensile stress changed to compressive stress in base metal.•Recovery and grow up of the deformed grains with wetting by carbides happened.
