Durability and clinical experience using a bovine pericardial prosthetic aortic valve

Competing-risk analysis of 1241 patients implanted with the Trifecta bioprosthetic aortic valve. The analysis accounts for 4 mutually exclusive outcomes, including structural valve deterioration (SVD), endocarditis, death without SVD/endocarditis, and alive without SVD/endocarditis. Outcomes show very good durability of the implant.
