Abstract
The display of isopotential contours is a standard technique in the interpretation of results generated by the finite element analysis of voltage distribution problems. The complementary display of the current how or Aux lines is in many ways more useful intuitively, but has not been used widely in finite element analyses. We describe a simple method for generating flux line distributions, and discuss the method as applied to the reconstruction of current distributions from magnetic field maps.
