Service Composition in IoT - A Review

Typically, the Internet of Things (IoT) incorporates the provisioning of powerfully adaptable and virtualized things such as cameras, sensors as valuable resources over the Internet. There are different types of services that can be combined to meet user demands. Capturing the user requirements and composing various services from the existing set of services is required in order to facilitate the adaption of an IoT based application. The industry has a strong demand for service composition mechanisms in order to meet the fast and growing demands of the user on the web. There are various techniques and methodologies which can be applied to provide the optimized solution to the problem of Service Composition(SC) in IoT environments. This study involved a survey of existing methodologies that can be addressed to make effective SC in IoT.
