摘要

•α-Fe2O3/Nb2O5 mixed oxide synthesized by Pechini method.•MB photodegradation through photo-Fenton reaction, under simulated solar light.•Different experimental conditions analyzed by factorial experimental design.•The mixed oxides resulted in a material with greater MB degradation capacity.•Synergic effect resulting from the mixture of Nb with Fe, causing hematite activation.
