•It was first proposed that DAP can inhibit autophagy of CIA-FLS induced TNF-α.•This mechanism may rely on inhibition of PI3K/Akt/mTOR signal activation.•DAP can inhibit the secretion of cytokines of CIA-FLS induced TNF-α to reduce the inflammatory response.
