摘要
Due to work hour limitations set forth in the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education Common Program Requirements, residency programs invest considerable resources examining and managing the time residents spend at work.1 Many proponents of the system assume that by reducing time spent on clinical work, residents may spend more time engaged in activities that mitigate fatigue, stress, and burnout and enhance education. However, reviews of well-being and education following duty hour reforms are inconclusive.
