Abstract
In a switching power supply, the clock is generally modulated to disperse the EMI noise, however at the same time, the output voltage ripple increases. In this paper, the relationship between the clock modulation signal and the output voltage ripple was clarified, and a method for achieving compatibility between EMI noise reduction and output voltage ripple reduction is proposed.
