Integrating critical values of soil drivers for mitigating GHGs: An assessment in a sugarcane cropping system.

•Groups of GHG fluxes were defined by combining critical values of soil drivers.•The combination of soil temperature, GSM, SIN and WFPS grouped CO2 and N2O fluxes.•The combination of GSM, SBD and SIN grouped CH4 fluxes.•The analysis of GHGs jointly detected trade-offs and groups of low or high fluxes.•Mitigating management practices should consider the advantage of combined analysis.
