Spatial and temporal associations of traps and sources: Insights into exploration in the southern Junggar foreland basin, northwestern China

In order to reveal the accumulating processes of multiple petroleum systems in the southern Junggar basin, we have investigated the growth of traps in three rows of fold-and-thrust belts and the thermal evolution history of multiple hydrocarbon source rocks, and established a five-stage accumulation model.
