Experimental investigation on the diffusion of carbon fibre composite grouts in rough fractures with flowing water

•Aperture width, cement water ratio, and additive content reduce diffusion of grouts.•Cement-water ratio and additive content should be increased when the water flow speed is high.•The dynamic water resistance increases with carbon fiber concentration.•Dynamic water grouting process in rough fractures was simulated.
