Incorporation of high explosives into nano-aluminum based microspheres to improve reactivity

摘要
It remains a challenge of large-scale application of nano-aluminum in energetic materials field. In this work, nano-aluminum based microspheres incorporating with high explosive have been successfully fabricated by electrospray deposition. The introduction of high explosive into nano-aluminum based microspheres has significantly improved the reactivity. The electrospray deposition can also be extended to other nano-composite microspheres for broader interest beyond the energy community.
