Abstract
This presentation aims to examine factors influencing parents of children with severe behavioral problems engagement and retention in child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHs) and methods to improve their receptiveness to CAMHs. We hypothesize that parental engagement in CAMH will be correlated with: 1) attitudes toward mental health treatment (MHT); 2) ease of accessing CAMHs; and 3) past experiences with CAMHs.
