Abstract
The least squares (LS) phase unwrapping algorithm is a global optimal method, but this approach doesn't take the effects of rapidly varying topography and residual points into account which would cause errors in phase unwrapping. To the problems of low accuracy and phase layover in single baseline unwrapping approaches, this paper proposes a multi baseline optimization weighted LS unwrapping algorithm based on the quality map. This method can solve the phase layover problem effectively by using multiple baseline measurements. Moreover, the quality map is applied to compensate the residues caused by noise and optimize the weight of low-quality region, which can significantly improve the unwrapping accuracy. Results of simulation and measurement data show the effectiveness and the improved performances of the proposed algorithm.
