Trimester-specific reference intervals for kaolin-activated thromboelastography (TEG®) in healthy Chinese pregnant women.

•During pregnancy haemostatic system creates a physiological hypercoagulable state.•The values of TEG tests in pregnant women were different with non-pregnant women.•The reference intervals for TEG tests are not appropriate for pregnant women.•Few reports about the reference intervals of TEG tests for pregnant women•We establish trimester-specific reference intervals in pregnancy for TEG tests.
