摘要

•Post data-mining tools like modified MDF and DIF upon LC-HRMS/MS benefit screening broad capsaicin metabolites.•We confirmed 19 functionalized metabolites and 13 GSH conjugates of capsaicin.•Thirteen capsaicin metabolites with single or multiple biotransformation are firstly revealed in vitro.•GSH conjugates of capsaicin indicate the detoxification value of GSH conjugation way.
