摘要
•Patients with clinical feature of bvFTD but no demonstrable motor deficit show, abnormalities in balance and gait, which is more severe in patients compared to controls and medial/lateral instability is unique to patients.•Coefficient variation of step length (Gait instability) was significantly impaired in patients.•There is evidence for early and distinct alteration in both gait and balance parameters in patients with bvFTD.•Assessment of the above parameter and initiating appropriate rehabilitative training is likely to have an impact in delaying clinically obvious motor problem which leads to falls.
