Abstract
•Laparoscopic left colonic resection for acute diverticulitis is best performed beyond the third month after the last acute episode.•It is important to determine the factors that increase the risk of recurrence.•We recommend the use of Multifuser-Precision : a diffuser allowing to select different infusion rates on the same support.
