摘要
Introduction: To investigate the feasibility and efficacy of endoscopic full thickness resection (EFR) for treatment of gastric submucosal tumors originating from deep muscularis propria(deep-MP). Methods: The tumor was dissected by EFR: 1.Douching the esophagus and stomach with normal saline and antibiotic. 2.Precutting the overlying mucosa above the lesion. 3.Exposing and dissecting the tumor away from muscularis propria by using IT knife, SB knife or the blunt dissection. 4.Closing the perforation with endoclips and loops. Results: The en bloc resection rate was 100% (17/17). The average lesion size was 39 mm (25-56 mm). Results of pathologic studies: 11 were leiomyomas, 6 was GI stromal tumors. No serious symptoms of peritonitis after the EFR. No recurrence was observed during 3 to 16 months follow-up. Conclusion: Endoscopic full thickness gastric wall resection is a safe and feasible method for gastric deep-MP tumors.
