Abstract
•Polyurethane/Fe3O4 composite adhesives have been fabricated and evaluated.•All compositions are of comparable bond strength to a commercial hot-melt.•The adhesive can be heated and debond in an oscillating magnetic field.•Debonding time is related to increased loading of Fe3O4.
