Research On Neutral-Point Balance Control Of Three-Level Inverter Based On Hybrid Dpwm

摘要
The three-level inverters that adopt the discontinuous pulse width modulation (DPWM) strategy have advantages of low switching loss and high efficiency. However, the DPWM mode has poor neutral-point (NP) voltage balance potential, which will affect the output power quality of the inverter. To solve this problem, this paper studies a hybrid DPWM modulation method, which combines two DPWM modulation modes to generate complementary zero-sequence voltage and introduces the feedback of the neutral-point (NP) voltage to ensure uniform distribution of the dc-link two series capacitor voltages. Simulation experiments verify the effectiveness of the hybrid DPWM modulation method.
