A INFLUÊNCIA DO EXERCÍCIO FÍSICO NA COGNIÇÃO DO IDOSO

A partir dos sessenta anos de idade ocorre o inicio e o declinio fisiologico e cognitivo. Assim, o objetivo do presente estudo e descrever sobre a influencia da pratica do exercicio fisico sobreas funcoes cognitivas de idosos. Dispondo como base a revisao da leitura, para pesquisar os artigos cientificos Google Scholar, Bireme, Scielo, Pubmed e Organizacao Mundial da Saude (OMS). Para este estudo foram compilados 15 artigos cientificos e 2 livros, totalizando 17 obras, desde o ano de 1995 ate 2018. O presente estudo aponta que a pratica regular do exercicio fisico pode influenciar positivamente a melhora do funcionamento cognitivo do idoso. Assim, fica claro que o exercicio fisico quando realizado regularmente pode ser utilizado como uma estrategia nao farmacologica coadjuvante, a outros tipos de tratamento bem como medico e psicologico, para melhorar o funcionamento cognitivo de idosos. THE INFLUENCE OF PHYSICAL EXERCISE IN THE COGNITION OF THE ELDERLY From the sixty years of age the onset and the physiological and cognitive decline occur. Thus, the objective of the present study is to describe on the influence of physical exercise practice on the cognitive functions of the elderly. Based on the reading revision, to search the scientific articles Google Scholar, Bireme, Scielo, Pubmed and World Health Organization (WHO).For this study, 15 scientific articles were compiled, and 2 books, totaling 17 works from 1995 to 2018. The present study points out that the regular practice of physical exercise can positively influence the improvement of the cognitive functioning of the elderly. Thus, it is clear that physical exercise when performed regularly can be used as a non-pharmacological support strategy, to other types of treatment as well as medical and psychological, to improve the cognitive functioning of the elderly.
