•Multiple solutions for hybrid nanofluid on curved surface is explored.•Critical values for suction cc, curvature χc and shrinking βc parameters are determined.•Fitted correlations via cftools in MATLAB is compared with theoretical correlations.•Linear stability analysis (evaluation of minimum eigenvalue) is performed.•MATLAB builtin LinearFit.model is used for MRE for stable branch.
