Abstract
Primary diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL) of the central nervous system (CNS) is defined as a DLBCL arising within brain, spinal cord, leptomeninges or eye. It has a distinct biology and behavior, and shows frequent NF-kB pathway activation. MYD88 is an adaptor protein of toll-like and IL-1 receptor signaling, leading downstream NF-kB pathway activation. MYD88 L265P mutation confers the protein constitutional activity. There is no data available in Argentina about prevalence of MYD88 L265P mutations in primary CNS DLBCL.
