Abstract
6-mercaptopurine is the main component of therapy for ALL. It was found in previous studies that individual variability in 6-MP drug-related toxicity and treatment efficacy could be predicted by genetic polymorphisms in TPMT and NUDT15 genes. Promising biomarkers for predicting 6-MP-induced leukopenia is still unclear in the Russian population.
