VUV Cathodoluminescence Spectra of Rocksalt-structured MgZnO/MgO Quantum Wells

摘要

Cathodoluminescence (CL) spectra of rocksalt-structured (RS) Mg _0.92 Zn _0.08 O/MgO quantum wells (QWs) were measured in the VUV spectral region. Near-band-edge CL peak energies exhibited moderate blueshift by changing in the quantum well thickness. Present results demonstrate possible application of RS-Mg _x Zn _1-x O/MgO QWs for solid-state VUV light-emitter.
