摘要
•A modified closed channel infiltration (mCCI) method was used for successful uniform coating of the sol-gel catalysts within the micro-channels of Si-microrecators.•The XRD studies of catalysts suggested that while Fe- and Co-TiO2 consisted of only the anatase polymorph, both anatase and rutile phases of TiO2 are present in Ru-TiO2.•The absence of rutile phase in Co-TiO2 and Fe-TiO2 has a profound effect on their F-T activities.•Fe and Co exhibited significant strong metal support-TiO2 interaction (SMSI) and were consequently reduced at relatively high temperatures.•12%Ru-TiO2 exhibited the highest CO conversion and stability as well as C2-C4 hydrocarbon selectivity.
