The Urinary Exosomal Metabolism Reveals A Cardiovascular Risk Signature Of Added Value To Urine Analysis
ATHEROSCLEROSIS(2019)
摘要
Background and Aims: Development of subclinical atherosclerosis may result in fatal cardiovascular (CV) events in individuals with traditional CV risk factors within normal levels. New markers are needed to improve CV risk estimation of current algorithms. The value of the urinary metabolome has been demonstrated in CVD, but the urinary exosomal metabolism has been so far unexplored. We aimed to develop a novel methodology to analyze the exosomal metabolism and then investigate its implication in atherosclerosis development.
