Abstract
This paper introduces the problem that the transmittance of the seeker cowl under the condition of large humidity is reduced. In view of this problem, a giant pulse energy laser is applied to the traditional gem material seeker, and the intrinsic material characteristics of the seeker are changed to verify the hydrophobic properties of the material under the condition of the characteristic change. The single pulse energy of the medium wave laser used in the experiment is within the range of 2-50 mJ, and the pulse frequency is within the range of 10-200 Hz. The hydrophobic properties of the gemstone materials are measured by laser irradiation of different parameters in different gas environments. It is found that in the pure nitrogen environment, when the wavelength is 3.8 um, the pulse width is 10 ns, the pulse frequency is 100 Hz, the single pulse energy is 40 mJ, the irradiation angle is 0, the irradiation time is 20 minutes, the hydrophobicity of the gem material is increased by about 5%. It is believed that this method can improve the hydrophobicity of the gemstone material and improve the transmittance of the seeker to a certain extent.
