An unexpected disease presenting as a pediatric cerebellar mass

There are several etiologies to pediatric cerebellar masses and each of these must be considered in the clinical practise. In this case report, we present a case of cerebellar tuberculoma in a child. Intracranial tumors have a similar clinical presentation, making the clinical diagnosis of tuberculoma challenging. This could delay the diagnosis of tuberculoma and result in increased morbidity. Imaging studies are essential to the diagnosis of intracranial tuberculoma. This disease is curable if recognised promptly and treated empirically with anti-tuberculous therapy.
