Simultaneous measurement of salinity, temperature and pressure in seawater using optical fiber SPR sensor

•An Optical sensor for measurement of seawater salinity and temperature was proposed.•Photosensitive material was coated on the sensitive layer to produce SPR double resonance valley.•Photonic crystal fiber was chosen as an ideal mode-excitation field.•This design makes it possible to form three distinct SPR resonance dips.
