Abstract
Background: Dispatcher-assisted cardiopulmonary resuscitation (DA-CPR) is associated with an increase in the bystander CPR rate and survival of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) patients. The effect of bystander gender on successful bystander CPR is unclear. The aim of this study was to evaluate the bystander gender difference on successful bystander CPR in dispatcher connected OHCA patients.
