Specific phages-based electrochemical impedimetric immunosensors for label-free and ultrasensitive detection of dual prostate-specific antigens

•The obtained specific phages were employed to detect f-PSA/t-PSA ratio and t-PSA.•The dual label-free EIS biosensors based on phages were facilely constructed.•The proposed strategy eliminated complicated purification of recognition elements.•The as-fabricated biosensor showed high sensitivity, specificity and stability.
