Sa1261 PERORAL ENDOSCOPIC MYOTOMY AROUND THE WORLD: A DECADE OF EXPERIENCE

Per oral endoscopic myotomy (POEM) has been performed for the last decade as an alternative treatment to standard Heller myotomy for patients with esophageal achalasia. The aim of our study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of this technique in the management of achalasia after a decade of experience worldwide with a comparison between Western countries to Latin American where POEM was recently introduced.
